Hi! I’m Tristy Johnson, children’s book author, illustrator, and creator of the Chore Wars series and other magical storybook adventures. I believe kids learn best when they’re having fun—and that even the messiest moments can become empowering, imaginative quests.
My books are inspired by my greatest muse—my son, Avid—whose boundless curiosity and brave little heart sparked the very first story. Real-life parenting, a love for rhyme and rhythm, and a desire to help kids build confidence shape every page I create.
